600 more Ghanaians register at our High Commission to be evacuated from South Africa.
When the safety and dignity of Ghanaians are at stake, the Government of Ghana does not compromise or dither.
I am immensely proud of the resilient spirit of Ghanaians.
See you soon -- there's no place like home.

A woman has gone viral after allegedly discovering her husband in an intimate relationship with his own biological sister. 😳💔👀
After saying she was leaving town, she unexpectedly returned home and caught the two together, uncovering a betrayal so shocking that it has left the internet completely stunned. 😭😭😭😭💭
Some betrayals break hearts… this one destroys trust, reality, and everything a person thought they knew about their marriage. 💔💔💔

I canceled my wedding... because my fiancée's careless actions almost killed my Labrador. 💔
I'm 28, she's 27. We were together for 4 years, engaged for 6 months. My Labrador is 7 years old — very gentle, loyal
Last Saturday, she had her bachelorette party at home. I went to my parents' place and left the dog with her because she said she liked him.
Before leaving, I simply said: "When the party starts, put him in the bedroom."
That's it.
Sunday morning at 5 AM, I got a call. She was panicking, saying something happened to the dog. She was so drunk she couldn't speak clearly. I told her to take him straight to the vet.
When I arrived, she was crying. Friends told me the dog was alive... but not okay.
Then the vet informed me...
My dog had consumed alcohol... and had also eaten chocolate edibles. 💔
Everything was left open — drinks, edibles — all within his reach. No one put him in the room. Everyone was busy... and he was poisoned.
That dog trusts people completely.
And they let him down.
When I got home, I said directly — pack your things, cancel the wedding.
She was shocked.
I wasn’t.
Then I started getting calls.
Her family, friends... everyone said I was overreacting. "Ending a relationship over one mistake."
My family was also on her side.
My mom said: "She didn't mean to. The dog survived, right?"
Yes… he survived.
Barely. 💔
My sister also said I overreacted.
But no one understands...
This isn't just about one night.
She uses her phone while driving.
She has left the stove on before.
I kept ignoring it.
But this time?
My dog was involved.
A life that depends on us.
And she couldn’t follow a simple instruction.
She's not a child.
She's 27 years old.
If I can’t trust her now...
how will I in the future?
With kids? A home?
Love alone isn’t enough...
when someone’s carelessness can cost a life.
I can't risk my life on the next "accident." 💔

SUSPECT BEHIND VIRAL INFLAMMATORY POSTS ARRESTED IN MOMBASA
Detectives have apprehended David Onyango Elgon, aka MC Adek Tatu, the mastermind behind insensitive and inflammatory social media posts that have sparked widespread public outcry.
The offensive content, which was published on the suspect's Facebook account (MC Adek Tatu), has since gone viral across various social media platforms, threatening public order and peace.
Acting swiftly on actionable intelligence, a team of detectives launched a manhunt, trailing the suspect to his hideout at Queen’s Court in Utange, Mombasa County, where he was arrested in his residential house.
The suspect is currently in custody, undergoing processing ahead of his arraignment.
The DCI reminds all netizens that the digital space is not a lawless jungle. While we enjoy the freedom of expression, publishing or distributing inflammatory posts that incite public outcry and divide us as a nation is a crime. We urge the public to use social media platforms responsibly.

One of the things we’ve had to deal with from Hindu Indian migrants is theft from our elderly citizens via fraud and scamming. Recently, a young Hindu man, who could barely speak English, was arrested for stealing $400K in gold bars from one of our elderly citizens. So the “best and the brightest” could barely speak English and tried to steal from our elderly’s life savings.

BREAKING 🚨 Botswana SLAMS South Africa with Power Cut & Border Closure Over Xenophobic Attacks 😤
President Duma Boko has declared a full state of emergency and unleashed drastic measures against South Africa following escalating xenophobic violence targeting Botswana nationals.
In a bombshell move, Botswana has cut off electricity supply to several South African provinces, an unprecedented step that could severely worsen SA’s crippling energy crisis. The country has also ordered the immediate closure of all borders and demanded that every Botswana citizen currently in South Africa returns home immediately.
During a fiery address, President Boko blasted the mistreatment of his people, reminding South Africa of Botswana’s historical support during the anti-apartheid struggle.
Tensions have now reached boiling point 🔥

We have strengthened preparedness against Ebola at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Kenya’s busiest port of entry, to enhance the country’s ability to detect and respond to potential public health threats.
An assessment of Port Health Services reviewed passenger screening systems, thermal scanners, isolation facilities, laboratory readiness, aircraft and wastewater surveillance, and overall emergency response coordination. The commitment of frontline health personnel remains critical in safeguarding the health and safety of all Kenyans.
Although Kenya has no confirmed Ebola case so far, we continue to strengthen preparedness by enhancing screening at points of entry, deploying additional officers, improving laboratory diagnostic capacity, fast-tracking specimen processing, reinforcing surveillance systems across air, sea, and land borders, and ensuring rapid response mechanisms remain operational.
We encourage the public to remain vigilant, maintain proper hand hygiene, seek medical attention when unwell, and rely on official Ministry of Health communication channels for accurate information.
Preparedness, vigilance, and coordinated action remain our strongest defence against Ebola and other emerging public health threats.
