Chiba City is warning resident to beware of wild boars after sightings were reported early this morning in the central area near Chibachuo station. There isn't much nature there, other than a few small parks.

@zaichishka My People mourn the loss of every being, and curse the existence of these traps we lay for one another. Why it is we can not sit round the same fire, sharing fruit and plum wine under a star-filled sky, swapping tales in a language we all understand, is something I never will.

Update about the “wild boar guy”. Arrived exactly at 9 (not usual 15 minutes early to appointment to show how diligent they are), I served coffee and peaches. He is hilarious, immediately notice the Bill Reid blanket on the couch and asked “is that Tlingit?”…

Again the sign that warns me to beware of wild boars. You can't really read the sign in the video...but I promise that is what it says. I love "wild boar" the punniness of it. I am always imagine a boring (person?) going wild. Like me in a bookstore, after pay day.

Our neighborhood is overrun with wild boars. The first project when we bought our house was to fence a large area off with electric wiring. Our house is an island surrounded by boars. Today, I delight in their meat- stewed for several hours with homegrown vegetables and herbs.

🇯🇵👨🏽‍🚀 I have been waking at sunrise and jumping in the minivan to shoot these Sakura films. I’ve gone down so many country roads that I have been eyeing for a couple of years. On one of those roads. I saw this goat. Just chilling. I also saw a wild boar today casually strolling 🤷🏼‍♂️
