UNC and Michael Malone have reportedly been in contact with NC State transfer Paul McNeil. McNeil averaged 13.8 ppg and 3.6 rpg while shooting 42.7% from three. Earlier in the season, he dropped a 47 point triple double vs Texas Southern, shooting 11-17 from three while snagging 10 boards. He’s one of the best pure shooters in the entire country. Everyone saw it during NC State’s first four game against Texas. At 6’5, his length allows him to elevate over defenders with ease. He also just has one of the cleanest shot forms I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t know how realistic this really is, but I would be ecstatic if Mike got it done.
