@BenjaminSolak Mike Clay at ESPN has Miami wins at 2.5 games (last) versus Steelers at 8.5. If that happens, Miami will be picking a QB at #1 and have sunk $45m into a guy to be the worst team in the league and then be an expensive backup QB.

Compensation update: Aaron Rodgers is expected to sign a one-year deal worth up to $25 million, per sources. The deal is expected to include a base salary between $22 and $23 million, with up to a few million more in incentives. The deal still needs to be finalized and signed.

@BenjaminSolak Not 100% accurate. On a per season, yes, but Willis has $45m in guaranteed money. So fine that Steelers didn’t want to commit more to an unproven player. Only bad, because you personally think Willis is great. (At only $22.5 for 2 years, other teams not sold on him either)
