@TheAdrianDurham @JakeDale90 By that logic you don’t think Bournemouth bring anything to the Premier League because they get a quarter of the fans at games as some established clubs? Are Salford not improving the EFL, maybe check their historic crowd levels. Bizarre take from you.

@JakeDale90 I gave two clubs as examples, the other club are promotion contenders with small fanbase. I said there's a misconception that every NL club will improve the EFL. It's simply not true but people seem too scared to say it. I'm not.

Heard @TheAdrianDurham REJECT 3up3down yesterday and it staggers me. “Because Altrincham took 15 fans to a midweek away game, that won’t benefit the EFL..” 2 years ago Alty had a L2 worthy squad and got gutted by EFL clubs, now they’re regressing. Clubs can’t grow in the NL

@dpsalmon Quite a few of your players really impressed tonight with their technique, but you’re lacking at both ends of the pitch. Midfield leaves your defence far too exposed with no ball winner in there, and for all the impressive possession, you looked lost when you got near our box.

Absolute borefest tonight but Morecambe much better defensively overall. We urgently need to find a spark, a zip, that missing piece, anything to get us quicker in the final third. @MorecambeFC You guys have some good players, but are tactically so naive. Midfield give the defence no protection and it looks like you’ve never had a training session based on opening up the opposition defence. Get a proper manager in and you’d be a match for most teams.

@HxCourierTom The chairman has to take the blame for the abysmal crowds. Years of treating supporters with contempt, followed by a 10% ticket price rise and season tickets barely on sale before the season started. And still the chairman refuses to engage with fans or media.
