@rcl_runs Yeah. As I said a few times on here (not blaming you for missing it, just noting), I think the team would’ve been better off keeping the DH spot as a rotating cast. Keeping Reynolds, O’Hearn and Lowe fresh is a bigger priority than adding a full time DH.
I know that the comment section on this app routinely turns ugly, but I’ve always found it cool that we can talk ball in my mentions. We don’t always agree, and that’s OK. I appreciate the discussion, as almost all of it is respectful debate — which is rare in today’s world.
@_NoahHiles So for the first time in years I’m optimistic about this season. Was Ozuna my first choice, no. But he does drastically improve the team and I don’t believe that would have any effect on the other moves. I hope you’re dead wrong but the current ownership makes us Leary
Just to clear a few things up:
1. I think the 2026 Pirates are better than the 2025 Pirates.
2. I disliked the Ozuna move because I felt it takes away from the prior good moves they made this offseason.
3. I could be dead wrong with that take, and if so, that’s OK.
