Summary after 3 weeks into US/Israel vs Iran war:
According to Pete Hegseth, the (Secretary of War) we've allegedly destroyed 70-80% of their nukes/missiles/navy, leadership decapitated, energy infra hit hard (they are still easily striking Israel and Gulf states).
Tactical W for coalition.
But gas in FL ~$3.95/gal (up from ~$2.90 pre-war), oil $100-120+a barrel, prices are crushing Americans
I called this MONTHS ago:
War spikes gas/oil, no quick end, pocketbook L for regular folks while elites spend billions.
Militarily dominating?
Yes.
Winning for everyday America?
Hell no, and it only gets worse from here financially.

@jomaticaaa Tickets are printed with the attendee's name and photo. Security checks at the entry gates check photos against the person entering, making it nearly impossible for a stranger to use a bought ticket. Not sure people would pay x amount to risk that, and it seems to work

I took the 94 bus home from dinner with an old school friend tonight. I was harassed by a man, while another sat next to me apparently in hysterics at what was going on. It was fine: I’m far too long in the tooth to care about a couple of dickheads. But had I been younger, I would have been quite scared. It’s not right that women should have to put up with this bullshit. Not right at all. London is not safe. @SadiqKhan

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.
