Yesterday we took a break from practice and competed in a little bowling competition. It’s a good thing we shoot a basketball much better than we roll a bowling ball, but we have a great time!

Had a great program dinner last night. Mac n Cheese and Chicken, thanks Kwik Star and our moms!! We also recognized Reese, Mariah, Sydney, Daya, and Chloe for their effort👏👏

Important AAU weekend ahead for a lot of hoopers. Some things to keep in mind on the road: • Play aggressive. Don’t play passive. You get rewarded for acting. Not standing still. • Demonstrate that you can play off the ball. 95% of the game is played without the ball. Most players won’t be allowed to dribble 7 times before making an actual move at the next level. Be efficient. • Play through contact as much as possible. You won’t get most foul calls you think you deserve. Deal with it and adapt. • No matter how you’re playing, be a good teammate. No coach wants to recruit toxic players to their program. • BE YOURSELF. Don’t play a certain way because some college coach might be there to watch you. “The job on your team is doing what you do best, while helping the team succeed in their goals.”
