Penn State 10-for-10 in first round of NCAA wrestling. Lions only allowed one TD in 10 bouts, only other points were escapes. The lone TD occurred in final seconds of Cole Mirasola's 13-7 win at 285.

Almost thru the first round of the NCAA Wrestling Championships here in Cleveland. Only Josh Barr and Cole Mirasola left to go. Lions are 8-for-8 which is not a surprise. Worth noting PSU has only allowed points on escapes in first 8 bouts, and not many of them.

Penn State will have its bye Oct. 24.

Penn State will open its Big Ten season at home vs. Wisconsin on Sept. 26.

Penn State at Northwestern on Oct. 3.

Penn State visits Washington on Nov. 7.

Penn State will host USC on Oct. 10 in the fall.

Guys, I almost FORGOT: Penn State hired a new coach. What do you think of the hire? What do you think of Pat Kraft's coaching search? How big of an offseason is this for Matt Campbell/Kraft considering the transfer portal will open soon and the 2026 recruiting class is SMALL?

I thought James Franklin was emotional in the early days of his time as Penn State's coach. Matt Campbell has him beat by a wide margin. PSU's new coach's has become worked upl at least a half-dozen times today, and he is not done.

We are at 820 total yards of offense in the third quarter. Penn State and Rutgers each have six plays of 20 or more yards (12 total) and PSU has gains of 55, 53, 53 and 43....Just the shootout everyone expected. I was dumb enough to pick it 27-13.
