Weekend Update – $DGXX $GLXY $ALTS Hope everyone had a great weekend. I’m back from 2 weeks vacation out West – which is why I’ve been out of pocket … but back in the saddle now, baby . . . by the volume of DMs and posts, clearly I’ve been missed ... for some, my absence made the heart grow fonder. For others . . . they might want to consider increasing the dosage . . . Enough chit-chat . . . $DGXX pull-back. Look, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I enjoyed seeing my account balance better w/ DGXX at 3.75 not 2.25 . . . BUT this doesn't change my perspective on the name. I’m not a pumper or a dumper or have big ears (well - I tried to sneak that one in) . . . I like the name a lot. I know what I own. The company is pivoting admirably into a real PLAYER niche energy/Tier 3 data center operator – this was a great Q with that backdrop. Folks up in arms about lack of call/guidance but neglect to appreciate that hasn’t occurred prior. There are TSX rules re guidance in writing w/ earnings. That said, I fully expect Michel to update us in the coming days – at a minimum in the monthly SH letter. Positive EBITDA Q, huge cash balance - $30mm+ including crypto. He is such a dynamic steward of capital that in seeing $ETH on the verge of breaking out – a few weeks ago purchased $2mm of $ETH from the co’s reserves and BOOM . . . we are up 25% on that purchase alone. The $SMCI partnership developing in earnest. 0 long-term debt. Well on our ambitious plan to 200MW capacity. Lest we forget a large investor gobbling up $15mm worth of stock at $3.12 . . . have to believe that player is eyeing the action and looking to add . . . this is a volatile name. If you can’t stomach the ride – it is reasonable to get off. I’m in/on. I have not added as yet – but intend to if it continues here. $DGXX and $GLXY are top holdings. That has NOT changed. The market catches up w/ our names – we have seen it TIME AND TIME AGAIN. Just recently w/ $CRML, $ONDS and $SRFM. These names were left for dead. UNTIL . . . We knew it BEFORE they did . . . I also continue to add/maintain a large position in $SBET (originally at $9's) which is trading close to NAV. I believe when this latest raise has concluded that it will snap higher compressing the gap w/ $BMNR and both ride markedly higher w/ $ETH. This is a bet on $ETH. If you don’t like ETH – don’t make that bet . . . I do. Lastly new position is $ALTS. My view is the discount to NAV is a STUNNING opportunity. As $WLFI launches/live $ALTS will move markedly higher. I think the $WLFI launch will be robust and it will quickly establish itself as a key crypto reserve/asset. There is a lot of dry powder ready to grab $WLFI. In my view $ALTS with its existing holdings and financial engineering, should command a NAV premium in line w/ $MSTR $BMNR (soon $SBET) and other similar reserve asset holdcos. I intend to add to $ALTS aggressively below $6.50 inexplicably trading well below NAV and will make it a key holding along w/ $DGXX $GLXY $SBET at least for the near term. I can see $10+ quickly and intend to contemplate trimming as it approaches a 2x from here. I don't think it falls so feel as though we are downside insulated. On a side note – I try my best. I don’t charge a penny for my thoughts. If they are helpful – great. If they are not – I’m sorry. Unfollow. Don't read. Perhaps at least my views are useful in building a short book… no need to be personal or insulting. Buy the name, or don’t. It matters little to me. I gets hundreds of DMs/notes/even emails asking what I’m looking at, thanking me for changing their financial predicament (to the upside!) and their lives . . . for those folks alone I continue to take the time to write.
