@BobbyRoos1 @loco_ultimate Gtfo here...I sat there talking with the players in both instances. The first with the WMP I said I would have made a play on the disc but felt I was undercut. Video needed With MMP I called a dangerous play/Spirit call on myself but y'all are more upset it stopped play..

This is for @loco_ultimate and anyone else. I tweet as a way of expressing myself. If you have a problem you can: 1) Reply 2) unfollow me 3) bring it up to my face the next day when we play you 👀 🚂 Tired of the cowardly passive aggressive shit ultimate players are so fond of

@NHL94 Is seeding ranked teams above pickup teams meant to reward them for playing in the regular season? Seems more like a punishment for the teams unlucky enough to get a bottom seed that will likely upset the whole pool. I'd have to guess it doesn't matter to the pickup teams.

Question for everyone playing the USAU club series: How should series-only teams be seeded at Sectionals relative to teams with bad regular season results? Should historical performance or roster be factored in? Or are bad results better than no results, without exception?

@TheRajanStudios Bad plays are those that put players at risk of injury. Intent doesn't matter. The outcome doesn't matter. And by outcome I mean both did you get the disc and did anyone get hurt. What matters is putting people at risk. Don't put people at risk of injury.

Won't happen soon, but I do like @Mike_Ball423's argument of expanding to 20 teams and playing three day event. 20 teams, counterintuitively, means a deeper, better tournament, because many good teams miss out to autobid teams from bad regions.

@BentUltimateNYC with a single elimination bracket, close games, improbable upsets and bragging rights for your school. The women's bracket has that same excitement and skill. People watch men's sports because it's available and marketed to them (as BENT pointed out in their earlier thread).

@BentUltimateNYC I really don't buy that people watch men's sports because there is more skill or more excitement. If you wanted to watch the most skilled players you wouldn't watch NCAA MBB, you would watch the NBA. You watch March Madness because the stakes are high

Any men want to respond to this?
Zach Parent@Parenthius

@BentUltimateNYC I mean multiple stats would argue with all of this. That they’re not just exciting as the level of skill and ability and much less in the women than men’s.

@hydr_fins There are 200 players with jerseys available, but you would probably have to subtract the cost of the jerseys to get the amount that will be available to the teams. Still a big number that makes it clear how much the ultimate community supports this league and its players.
