Another arc raiders session today with literally an infinite amount of hackers …. Ive made content on warzone call of duty for 5 years and in those 5 years I’ve seen less cheaters in the game than what I’ve seen in this week alone in arc raiders. It’s actually insane that you just need one good game with literally 5 kills to get punished and put in a lobby where every single person have a ban on record or lvl 1 steam with a weird name and no friends .. Actually depressing

the trigger nade “nerf” is still one of the most mind numbingly out of touch decisions i’ve possibly ever seen. what was even the internal conversation on this. it already does more damage than ANY explosive, i’d think with the rationale that it has to be placed in advance and timed later, like C4. but then you can just throw it and pre detonate over someone’s head and there’s literally nothing they can do about it. over half your health gone instantly and no defense is possible. the fix? you’d think it would be to delay the arming time itself, i.e. minimum of 5 seconds after being thrown it is armed and until then cannot explode, giving people some amount of time to avoid it like any other grenade. but no, you just have to pre detonate it a second earlier, and you can still very easily detonate it right on top of an enemy’s head so long as you’re 10-15 feet away. but they DID increase the fuse time when detonated, making it less effective as C4, which no one would ever use it as anyway since it’s the single best offensive equipment ever. if someone can explain wtf i’m missing here i’d love to know, because like half of all my kills at this point are probably trigger nades and the only reason i don’t take 6+ in per round is some concept of self respect.
