Just visited NBA Top Shot, the interface and search bar is top tier. I am interested in knowing how many moments are meant to be minted per year @NBATopShot Reason I ask is because there are so many sets and many that I have never heard of.

I have no idea how much credit to give to prediction markets, but I just saw one that suggested Nikola Jokić will finish fourth in MVP voting, despite having arguably the best single season in NBA history. I do think there’s a case for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but Jokić finishing fourth would be “maybe there’s something wrong with the voting pool” level bad.

The Luka Doncic MVP argument hinges on you believing he’s been the best offensive player in the NBA and I don’t know how you’d get there when Nikola Jokic is leading the best offensive in the NBA and has the biggest offensive point differential amount the MVP candidates. 127.6 O RTG +12.4 OFF +14.1 Net Swing You’d have to be erasing reality to do it.

Voter fatigue is the only reason he’s not the unanimous #1. We are witnessing the most efficient offensive season in the history of the sport and people are bored because he doesn’t do highlight dunks. Absolute robbery.
If any other player in history put up 28/13/11 on 67% True Shooting, they’d be drug tested and then handed the trophy by Christmas. The disrespect is reaching all-time levels.

I think it is totally reasonable for either Wemby or Shai to win
Both are deserving and have impacted winning more than anyone in the league
Jokic and Luka have also had an elite year but just behind
