The amount of men who have reached out this morning after my spot on @RadiNational to offer to lend a hand and asking how they can help change the course for young men to prevent violence and suicide is heartening. This is the best of masculinity on display. Service and altruism.

Research by the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) in 2017 found it takes a victim-survivor, on average, $18,000 & 141 hours to extricate themselves from a violent relationship.
7 years later, that cost is no doubt much higher.
