So many roads in Britain are flooding on a frequent basis. But before they blame it on cow farts causing climate change, it might helpful if local councils could be arsed to regularly unblock and clean the road drains. That’s what we pay our council tax for, apparently.

This government doesn’t care about renters! Rip off rents continue to spiral out of control on the watch of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. Now, the government pushes ahead with a plan that will allow landlords to hike rents even higher. Renters can’t take any more. They need action to get rents under control and to stop these runaway hikes.

This government has turned its back on young people. Average rents of €2,055 is not normal. Needing an income of €100,000 to buy a starter home is not normal. This can be sorted. We can get rents under control. We can deliver affordable homes. But it means taking action and standing up for young people.
