We need a revolution. Not a violent, political revolution, but a revolution in how we think and live as a species. Throwing off the shackles of body shame, through naturism and other means, is an important aspect of “leveling up” human consciousness.

@BodyFreedomRev I cannot do this but at the same time I cannot judge. At one point in time, this used to be normal and it seems we are heading back there as well. All is made by human beings as generations decide on what is acceptable or not.

We can all be a part of a great awakening for humanity. One way we can awaken to a better way of life is to be open, honest, and vulnerable with those around us. Naturism breaks down barriers and creates deeper connections with others.

In naturist spaces, people tend to let their guard down. This creates openness and trust. Some naturists will say “you’ve already seen me naked, what’s the point of hiding anything else?” Try naturism, and you’ll find yourself having deep, vulnerable conversations.

If you’re curious about social nudism, but nervous, there are lots of “baby steps” you can take. Like meditating, stretching, or doing yoga at home. It will make you feel more at ease existing without clothes. Give it a try!

Love the idea of a mixed-gender group going shirtless in public in solidarity with one another. A powerful political statement.

Nakedness is “the great equalizer”. A society that embraces social nudity will be a more just and equitable society. In a social nude space, class distinctions are harder to see, and therefore less important.

Is there any practical purpose for a swimsuit, apart from reinforcing shame and “modesty”?

If nudism represents a challenge for nudists in facing society, then the challenge becomes even greater (doubled) for transgender nudists. All respect and support to those who insist on living the life they have chosen, regardless of the judgments of others 🙏

@libertydream00 I’m a transgender nudist and it took me years to be reaccepted at my club after my transition. I try to speak up about this issue through my writing and my visibility as much as I can.

@libertydream00 Are you aware of any writing on this topic? I am close friends with a couple - a female and an AFAB transmasculine person. The female wants to come to a naturist resort, but my trans friend is very apprehensive. Would love to give them some resources and perspectives to consider.
