BREAKING: The body cam footage of Sherrone Moore’s arrest has been released, and Moore can be seen crying as he is detained by law enforcement (SWIPE). Moore was arrested after allegedly stalking his mistress (a Michigan football staffer at the time), breaking into her apartment, and threatening self harm. He recently accepted a plea deal, pleading no contest to two misdemeanors (malicious use of a telecommunications device in a domestic relationship and trespassing). His original charges, third-degree home invasion, misdemeanor stalking, and misdemeanor breaking and entering were much more serious, but eventually dropped after issues with the investigation including a judge ruling Moore’s due process rights were violated due to the officers omitting the employer-employee relationship from the police report. The maximum total jail time that can be served for Moore’s two charges totals seven months in prison, however he is unlikely to do jail time in our estimation.
