I don’t care how “efficient” the private sector is. Some services should never be run as businesses. Health care. Water. Electricity. Gas. Prisons. If a company makes more money when people get sicker, stay locked up longer, or have no choice but to pay, that’s a system built on conflicting interests.

It takes some brass-neck for a person on £100k+ a year, with £200k expenses, a free house with all bills paid & work at a place with subsidised food & alcohol to tell a disabled person their £30 a week PIP is too much.

@halpins1 @AnnieGlen20 Rich paying taxes and corps paying corp tax would raise an estimation of well over 70bn each year… it’s a huge problem along with the amount of corruption in the office. The high speed railway and Covid kit scandals are examples that show, the country needs to rise up.
