@hyperlyme Oddly enough the scene entirely failed for me to care about because I was so expecting them to save her on top of the usual super senses entirely failing. Even after she died I was left just wondering how they would bring her back later.

@uiulex He is increadibly dumb. His entire motivating moment was he refused to kill innocents and the suffering. So he joins up and works for the guy who 'checks notes' kills innocent civilians.

He's not crazy or really evil, he's just dumb? He did the right thing not killing his own countrymen and his father used that to free him from that burden. Dantès manipulated him very well because he could do so much better than doing drugs and nuking people. #UiuDB

@hyperlyme Its insane that we get nothing about whats going on here. That said I don't think they could write it in a way that makes sense given everything so they just keep it all off screen aside from little bits like this.

@kasu35882221888 Simeon seems to think McBurn is stronger than he is. The omniscient eye gives Yun an unpredictable advantage but Aurelia mastered two styles which are presented equivalent to what Rean does. Mcburn, Aurelia, Simeon, Yun?

@kingslayer253 This was one of the moments that made Daybreak 1 good. They actually committed to the idea that this was a world people could be hurt or die in. That villains were actual threats and needed to be stopped. If this was Reverie, the place would be empty.

DB1 chapter 5 started off so crazy with the destruction of Creil. What’s also interesting to note is that unlike Hamel, they made sure this incident wasn’t gonna be covered up

I got more emotional than I expected. It hurts to see Dingo and all the people go out like this. I also love how evil Almatha is, we have been having so many "good intentions" villains for a while so it feels refreshing. And I love you Dingo, but please don't come back. #UiuDB

I think its the fact that db1 felt pretty conclusive that it created this problem, it should've been a duality arc like crossbell, db2 existence just fucked up alot of stuff

calvard arc is kinda paced like gacha patches; they keep you invested in the idea of what *might* happen in future unreleased content if you keep playing just a liiittle longer instead of what's Actually happening or happened with the story, characters etc

Surprisingly, thanks everyone for respecting my opinion on Trails of Cold Steel 4 and how it ended. Friends warmed me ahead that people would come for me if I wasn't careful X'D I will get to Trails into Reverie another day, just not right away, I am quite burn out X'D

Over 103 hours.....I'm free from....hmmm.... The most generic anime JRPG I've ever The first 2 parts of Cold Steel were fine, nothing offensive but moving onto Part 3, there was sense of something grander, huge going on. And then part 4.....REALLY MADE IT SO BAD

That’s the important thing CS4 critics completely overlook about the curse. It’s basically an amplifier that pushes your inner dark desire to do something you already wanted to do. The game literally spells it out for the audience
