A true hands-on workshop atmosphere, with world experts sharing their tips, pitfalls, and lessons learned. Key reflections 💭 ✅ Miniaturization and minimalism are essential — but not without pitfalls. ✅ Pressure in the collecting system is key; reducing it remains one of the major approaches during challenging surgeries. ✅ Complications are unavoidable but mostly preventable through awareness and teamwork. ✅ Laser is a powerful tool to destroy stones — but may also injure when pushed to the limits. Beware of your laser! ✅ Intrarenal pressure measurement will become cheaper and more widespread — and with more data, some practice patterns will change. ✅ The best stent after ureteroscopy is no stent — we’re not there yet, but reducing stent-related symptoms is a real priority. ✅ Diet and medical therapy are key to preventing recurrence — compliance is essential but often the hardest to achieve. ✅ Digital monitoring technologies improve adherence and reduce recurrence — a direction worth investing in. 🎥 Live surgeries remain the most exciting yet challenging part — both for the team and the surgeon.
