🚨 FIFA statement on Thomas Partey left out of Canada. “FIFA can confirm that player Thomas Partey will be unable to travel from Ghana's Team Base Camp in Boston, USA, to Canada for their first match against Panama on Wednesday, 17 June, as his visa application has been refused by the Canadian government. "FIFA is not involved in the immigration processes of host countries, including the adjudication of visas. As with previous FIFA events, the host government ultimately determines who receives a visa and is admitted into the country."

I commend Nigeria Security Agents for acting swiftly against the Badits attack in Ogbomosho. At least they know where the bandits are now and they're rounded up. The children and their teachers will, in the end, be released after the success of all underground efforts. This is a great shift from the chibok incident where the students had left Nigeria before the leaders of those period woke up!!! Surely, NIGERIA WILL TRIUMPH OVER TERRORISM!

Today is another proud and happy day for me. One of my good followers, Mr. Habeeb Afolabi, just rescued a female ball python and her eggs from people that were going to kill her. I've given him instructions on how to release the snake. I know that many people resist my teaching because it's now what we're used to. I'm however happy with the few who are walking the line. We'll do the little we can do for Nigerian wildlife.

My dear fellow Nigerians, Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration. To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely. I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me. Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key. As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis. The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together. As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations. We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome. Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa. Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me! Bola Ahmed Tinubu President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

🚨 UPDATES on DR Congo potential World Cup miss. The NFF has spoken through the General Secretary Dr Sanusi Mohammed. Long but interesting READ 📚 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 Eligibility Dispute: DR Congo Misled FIFA In Player Clearance Process - NFF  By Niyi Busari  The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that it has submitted a formal petition to FIFA over the alleged use of ineligible players by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) during their decisive clash with Nigeria in the CAF playoff for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria’s qualification hopes have been revived after FIFA opened an investigation into the eligibility of several DR Congo players who featured in the playoff final, which the Super Eagles lost on penalties. The match determined Africa’s representative for the intercontinental playoff, and the result is now under review following allegations of regulatory breaches. Speaking on the matter, NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said FIFA may have been misled by the DR Congo Football Association during the player clearance process. “FIFA was deceived into clearing those players because it is not FIFA’s responsibility to interpret or enforce domestic citizenship laws,” Sanusi said. “DR Congo law does not permit dual citizenship, yet some of the players involved reportedly hold dual nationality.” According to the NFF, FIFA approved the players based on documentation and assurances provided by the DR Congo federation, as FIFA regulations allow players to represent a country if they hold a valid passport. However, Nigeria’s complaint alleges that the clearance process itself may have been fraudulent, given potential conflicts with Congolese nationality laws. “It is not FIFA’s duty to know the domestic laws of every country,” Sanusi added. “That is why we formally drew FIFA’s attention to the issue and we are now awaiting their verdict.” The investigation is believed to centre on up to nine DR Congo players who allegedly switched national allegiance without fully completing the legal and administrative requirements stipulated by both Congolese law and FIFA statutes. While possession of a passport is a key requirement under FIFA rules, it does not automatically guarantee eligibility. Players must also comply with domestic legal provisions and FIFA’s regulations governing changes of association. Reports indicate that some of the affected players may not have finalised the necessary processes before representing DR Congo in the qualifiers. FIFA is understood to be examining the matter closely, with possible outcomes ranging from match forfeiture to other disciplinary measures, depending on the findings. A complete disqualification from international competition remains unlikely but has not been ruled out. Should DR Congo be sanctioned, the NFF says it is unclear whether Nigeria would automatically advance to the intercontinental playoff in Mexico or be required to contest another qualifying match. Nigeria, meanwhile, remains on standby as it awaits FIFA’s final decision on the case.

As much as the Nigerian Government have been irresponsible for many decades, a Foreign governments don’t intervene in anything unless to destabilise your country. In the olden days where they fight war for power and fun, A country with lot of resources as Nigeria won’t even survive as a country this long. We’ve survived this long as a country only by chance, not because we’re prepared. Another nation can openly talk about invading us, and we can’t respond because we don’t even have the capacity to defend ourselves. India got independence in 1947. North Korea in 1945. Today, they are a military power no one can threaten them without a quick response. For years we begged politicians to protect citizens. Instead, they negotiate with bandits, “forgive” Boko Haram, and watch insecurity spread. I hope this is a wake up call to the politicians to stop looking at this country as a cash cow and protect its own citizens.

@mrbayoa1 People don’t realize that we are only sovereign on paper, America was even respectful when they announced it, they could have dropped bombs in Lagos and Abuja and we wouldn’t be able to do shit about it…our politicians have eaten our sovereignty.
