@Keith_jouly hand, and couldn’t predict the incoming slash that could’ve bypass his Infinity. The dropped hand is Sukuna’s missing hand that he saw in the corner of his perpetual vision after he was hit with Red, he needed it to chant the World Cutting Slash.

@Keith_jouly I think that’s a good point. Due to how Gojo death was shown in the manga, it makes more sense to think that he was simply caught off guard(he have absolutely no idea that the slash is coming). upon comfortably landing on his feet, Gojo took a moment to think about the dropped-
