I definitely see it. I’m intrigued to see how it works long term especially when we have to rotate heavily due to injuries or fatigue. I also don’t know if he’ll eventually revert to a flat 4-3-3 which might not suit our best creator.

@AkinolaAjani Martinez lol , I don’t trust him tbh 😂 He’s always fit for Argentina but hopefully he stays fit this season because he’ll be really huge for us , I think next year is for defense Yoro , Heaven , Maguire and Martinez are all fit to start the season , we’re only missing De ligt

@BonisNon No lies man. Let’s hope we’re lucky with injuries. Martinez and De Ligt missed too many games last season. That could be a big problem especially because I don’t see us doing any business in that area this summer. Plus Maguire picked up a few niggling injuries as well.

@AkinolaAjani First time I’ve seen united actually cook in back to back windows 😂 We have Mainoo and Bruno in midfield already , best U-21 midfielder and best PL player , we’ve now added Tielemans (top 5 CM in PL) and Santos (Ligue 1 TOTY) bruh we’re cooking for sure

@BonisNon You’re really optimistic about this. I’m a little concerned about the UCL-League dynamic that a lot of teams struggle with but our transfer window should help us address that to a large extent.

@AkinolaAjani We have the quality to breeze through it like mad 😂 We’ll be playing teams that don’t even sit back often and that’s meal for us , Cunha , Mbeumo , Amad , Sesko sunning at a defense is scary and with the new found technical level in midfield, yeah we locked in for footy

@BonisNon I definitely see that. I hope we have deep cup runs in both domestic cups and the UCL so everyone can get some playing time. Do you think we’d struggle in the new UCL format because it’s our first time or you see us breezing through it.

@AkinolaAjani Yeahhh it’s just that run of games but if we have him and wingers are running off him then we’re good tbh because he’s more of a martial than a proper 9 , we just have to get the right profiles around him Too many varieties of skillsets in the team , we can play in diff ways

@BonisNon I see. I rate him highly because he offers a lot as an all-round player. However, I’m not sure he gets enough goals if Sesko has a long term injury. But then, he’s yet to get a run of games under Carrick so fingers crossed.
