Most Incredible PH apartment in Palermo Hollywood and Incompetent Buenos Aires Realtors We have been on a mission since July 2023 to buy up as much great located Buenos Aires real estate as we can. Go back and check our posts and we forecasted that Buenos Aires real estate had hit rock bottom in July 2023. We were the largest buyers of residential real estate in Buenos Aires in 2002 to 2010. We bought more real estate in Buenos Aires after the corralito than anyone in the world. We were the first foreigners to buy real estate at rock bottom prices after the corralito in 2002. Everyone else was scared but we knew real estate prices would skyrocket after the banking situation settled. It was what we thought was a once in a lifetime chance to buy premium real estate at low prices. Some real estate prices fell 65% overnight after the Corralito. And we were there to snap it all up. We built up the largest property management company in Argentina. Then we got acquired in 2010 and then Airbnb bought that company for almost $300 Million USD in 2017. We sold 95% of our Buenos Aires real estate portfolio at the top of the market in 2017/2018 and told anyone that would listen prices topped out. (Our investors made a fortune.....) Then we watched prices totally collapse as we predicted. Prices fell 50% over the next 5 years. We watched it fall lower and lower and lower. Then in July 2023 we called a bottom and that's exactly what happened. We started buying up real estate all over Palermo at rock bottom prices. Prices went up but we are still buying. Here is a property I purchased for myself several months ago. Notice the listing was wrong as usual on Zonaprop. I went to see it and the listing agent kept trying to tell me the property was only 45 years old! I told her ain't NO way this property is only 45 years old. I could tell from the architecture it was over 100 years old. She kept insisting telling me the owner tried to make it in an old style. More lies. The funny thing is I love the older buildings and the listing agent mistakenly thought lying to say it was newer was a benefit. I researched to see the building had Historical Preservation status. No one would ruin this gorgeous building. @BuySellBA
