@Dr4con1a 😭 that's actually insane oh my god.... it's honestly good to know though so I can mainly go towards articles written by actual amazigh people and publishers instead of colonizers.
@Bonkhanak It is indeed a slur and was mainly used by the greeks before arab and and french colonizers used it as well😭 i hate seeing it on supposedly educational resources + a lot of amazigh people treat it as a normal word when it's not the case
@Dr4con1a YEAH, I've been told that is a slur / derogatory. It's crazy that """PROFESSIONAL""" English & French articles use a slur to describe an entire group of people and pretend that's like ok & normal.... wth
@Dr4con1a Omg, that is so interesting! I totally understand the importance of strength & feminity being intertwined and how empowering that is for a character like dehya to represent, wow.
DO YOU REMEMBER WHICH NPC bc I'd love to know i wanna see!!!
@Bonkhanak Also i remember someone made a thread abt dehya cultural representation here on twitter, i think they go by the name gui? You could try to find the thread using search cuz i lowk lost it💔
@Dr4con1a My Arabic is SOOO bad compared to my farsi 😭😭🙏 like borderline unreadable ...
A lot of the resources were in English & because of that it was like .eu or .com & I usually trust actual educational sources more 😭😭😭
@Bonkhanak Im curious what resources you found😭 but yeah amazigh culture overall is under-talked about and many useful resources are mainly in the tamazight language or arabic
I feel like most people need to realize 90% of queer hcs are not based on stereotypes it’s either queer people seeing their fav and relating to them or being attracted to them so hc them as gay. like the fact y’all find it problematic is so odd
A woman is assaulted for teaching girls online. Her only “crime” was educating girls.
This is the reality under Taliban rule: women and girls are punished for seeking and sharing knowledge.
Education is not a crime.

@Bonkhanak You will probably find modern models than traditional ones, but surprisingly tiktok would be your friend when u try to search for more traditional attires😭 his girl right here posts a lot of videos abt chaoui culture u could take inspiration from her
@Dr4con1a Thank you! That means a lot to me & I cannot thank you enough for being so helpful, I always love hearing from people of that culture & learn to do better!
What is your favorite representation part in genshion, do you think? Just wondering, bc I'd love to know!
@Bonkhanak Yup amazigh is like an umbrella term for many different cultures and a lot of them are surprisingly represented in genshin (kabyle (algeria), souss (morocco), chaoui (algeria) and touareg (sub Sahara))
If you're looking for clothes the main keyword is chaoui malhfa
I'm going to redraw this because I've been informed she is chaoui & not kabyle!
I am going to do more research before 🫶❤️
I am not as knowledgeable on NA cultures due to being west/central/&south asian. So, thank you guys for helping me! I always want to know more!
