Representation of ethnic minorities in TV ads has much increased since 2011 when Only 5% of ads featured ethnic minorities, in 2019 black people (representing 3-4% of the population) were seen in 37% of ads. Post 2020 there's been a sharp rise with black actors now seen in about 50% of ads.

I've watched #RemembranceDay on @BBCOne for as long as I can remember. Has #DavidDimbleby ever gone into such detail about the soldiers from the "Old Empire" who supported GB? He said it was "interesting". In these days of hate/ disinformation such facts are much more than that.

This is silly and, in some ways, beneath you. If someone disagrees with me and the way they see the world is in fact racist and misogynistic, what am I to do or say? Attribute their position to other factors?
And the appeal to non-white Trump voters is a standard red-herring. 70% or so of the American electorate is white. And that’s who I am talking about.

No one is denying the impact of inflation and economic hardships. But there is nothing about Trump’s economic agenda that will address that.
He has been running a campaign primarily focused on culture wars. Now, all of sudden, what matters most about him are economic matters. Given me a freaking break.
