LUTE OLSON NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Georgia Tech’s Duncan Powell has earned Lute Olson National Player of the Week honors. The 6-foot-8 junior helped @GTMBB to a pair of conference wins last week, averaging 24.5 points, and 6.5 rebounds per game. Powell posted a career-high 26 points in Tuesday’s win at Pittsburgh. He also set a new personal best with six made threes. He shot 56.6% from the field, including 50% from beyond the arc.
The 2025 Lute Olson National Player of the Year award will be announced in April in San Antonio, site of the 2025 men’s NCAA basketball championship.

6’3 PG Nait George is the TRUTH!! He just dropped 28, 5, & 7 (and played the full 55 minutes!!) to lead Georgia Tech to a huge triple OT win on the road vs. Clemson. The Yellow Jackets are rolling with wins in 3 of their last 4 games, and George has been a big reason why. Over his last 4 games, the sophomore is averaging:
