@LtGovDelhi @dtptraffic Sir, two simple steps will immensely reduce traffic congestion in Delhi. *Make left turns free. No red lights on left turns. *Where traffic volume is low have amber blinkers on from 10 pm to 8 am. Red lights at low intensity traffic crossings are counter productive.

Delhi Traffic Police has launched a special enforcement drive against wrong-side driving across the National Capital to improve road safety, maintain traffic discipline and prevent fatal accidents. 🔸Since 04.05.2026, strict legal action has been initiated against violators, including registration of 72 FIRs and issuance of 7249 challans. Wrong-side driving remains a major cause of head-on collisions, traffic congestion and serious road accidents. 🔸Delhi Traffic Police reiterates that wrong-side driving is not just a traffic violation but a dangerous offence with potentially fatal consequences.
