@Nerdrotics I think it was a great adaptation tbh. I’ve read the book and it is quite science heavy, but I think they made the right decision on making it accessible for a general audience. The story alone is fantastic.

Project Hail Mary is really good. The book will always be superior, but it's a nice adaptation with a lot of heart. Rocky is the MVP. My only criticism, it's missing most of the science.

Aside from basically all entertainment media, I miss the tremendous sense of progress and optimism, especially in the latter half of the decade. Technology was advancing so fast, people were genuinely excited about where it was all leading. Then we found out.

I think we have to remember Rohl sees them in training every day, and Sterling seems to fit better. Rohl, has improved that entire squad, with the exception of a couple of dead wood players (Aasgaard, Gassama). So yeah it’s a reasonable argument but it’s like saying Aaron’s should’ve got another shot.

Defensively we were solid yesterday and we kept them in their half for 120 minutes. Our players had a handful of chances to put the ball in the net and failed to do so.
