This is outrageous. The guy is clearly incapacitated on the ground, having rightfully and thankfully been tased, yet two police officers are repeatedly kicking him in the head.
Who do they think they are: members of the IDF?
@dazzle6895@lovingtheSPURS@philhaigh_ That's just one game. It doesn't mean anything. World champions lose to qualifiers most years. Doesn't mean they are better. It's all very subjective to compare overlapping generations anyway. The game improves and moves on, players raise the standards. We see it in all sports.
@Boogemgb@lovingtheSPURS@philhaigh_ So if Davis can beat Higgins in 2010 way past his best…I’m sure he beats Higgins back in the 80’s at his peak on worse tables…that’s facts has he’s already beaten Higgins on better tables past his peak versus Higgins at his peak..
Asked Neil Robertson last night where he ranks John Higgins in his top players of all-time.
He named the same top three as Steve Davis did the other day.
1. Ronnie O'Sullivan
2. John Higgins
3. Mark Selby

@dazzle6895@lovingtheSPURS@philhaigh_ Well no, but that's also exactly why nothing in the sporting world is judged by one encounter. I'm a big Davis fan, but I believe his peak and achievements are bettered by Higgins'

@Boogemgb@lovingtheSPURS@philhaigh_ Davis wasn’t at his peak when aged 52 and beat Higgins at his peak 13-11 at the worlds…Higgins was world champion at the time
@tailso1988 Frame over and pressure off. Ronnie played a very similar shot a few years ago, famous one where Willie Thorne said he'll be lucky to make a 20 from here. That was to win the frame.
Jesus fuck me Christ that’s up there with one of the best shots I’ve ever seen but what the fuck was he on to even think about taking that shot on mad man 😂😂😂
@dharvey4 I think Arsenal will be beaten by Ath Md. Similar in that they are both built on defensive responsibility first. Ath Md just knocked out Barca. I don't think Arsenal would have done that.
@philhaigh_ I agree with Murphy that the ranking system needs changing. It's not harder to win the Saudi as it is the Welsh or other tournaments. The ranking points need to be for match wins, or even frames.... Not money. It's completely illogical as it is.
‘I think with the world number one thing, I don’t feel like I’ve played good enough to hold it.'
Judd Trump is still world number one, but he's not so sure he deserves to be.

@Exsnookerpro Yeah Murphy can beat him. He showed he's still a class act in the masters. Ebdon in his corner and the closer it gets the heavier the curse weighs.
@Nick_Metcalfe Up against the world champion and prodigy...... Doing well, maybe better than he expected, and happy with it. Heaven forbid there's a bit of adrenaline going. Nothing wrong. Better than 64 robots.
Judd admitting he wasn't good enough, didn't blame the table, anyone's chalk, just not good enough on the night, fair interview from judd #SnookerWorldChampionship
@WeAreWST I'm calling Murphy. With Ebdon mentality and the curse weighing on Xintong the closer he gets. Murphy proved at the masters he's still a match for anyone.
@TSnooker102 Can't be long before the standard break changes. Far too many frames being won from leaving an open red, which is partly down to luck and unpredictable. Evident in several matches so far. The standard break is too random and risky.
@lovingtheSPURS@philhaigh_ World number 1 for 7 years....yet the level of opponents wasn't as strong as now......that stat alone says it all. There were far less players competing at top levels and so less high quality players. Pure statistics. I'm not saying he wasn't amazing... Just not the peak of now
@Boogemgb@philhaigh_ Davis peak was way and above Higgins and Selby! Davis was unbelievable in the 80s and dominated for 10 years. The level of opponents was was sub-standard at all. World champion x 6, UK champ x 6 and 3 masters titles. World number 1 for 7 years.
@TheWavyRed Of course they can. Beaten Arsenal and City this season. In with a chance every game they play. Not saying they will win of course but they can compete. Goals getting shipped everywhere.
@SnookerLoopy_ I love Hendry's takes. They have so much clout. One of the very best pundits and commentators. The overall field is stronger these days. It shows with the various players getting to semis and beyond. It is harder to dominate.
Half of me gets tired of Hendry being unable to accept that it’s impossible to dominate matches and tournaments the way he used to, but the other half of me really enjoys his dismay at anything less than perfection
