Possibly the most evil man to ever serve as President.

@duolingo Why couldn't it have been that annoying Oscar?

@emmagf So only constituents with cable are worth communicating with? :'(

@broadwaybabyto Horrible that this happened to you. Health care professionals' "ability" to mask is a BFOQ which was routine before it became politicized during COVID.

@Jayforkellyripa @Jeopardamy If not on a gold toilet, aspiring to have one.

@Jeopardamy And pooping. They are typing, scowling and pooping. 😉

@VickieforNYC During what % of the day does the NYC car owner's vehicle stored on public property and sometimes driven for an hour on the weekend "sit unused"?

End this ridiculous scam of a program.
It exists only to eat up curb space that could maybe possibly be used for parking. That’s all. It exists to take up space.
It’s not popular, it’s not practical, and it’s not in anyone’s interest to continue.

BREAKING NEWS: Citibike's latest monthly operating report for December 2024 indicate that bikes within the Citbike network, a "bike sharing" system, sat unused 98.54% of the time, confirming that this a publicly-subsidized bike warehousing program where capacity is not being managed properly. Reported crashes were up 68.2% in December 2024 vs December 2023 with a 4.8% increase in the number of trips. It's probably time for the City to renegotiate the placement of these two-wheeled death machines based on a seasonal schedule to optimize usage, available space constraints, and maintenance costs.

@GoracleOfDelphi If and only if you're carless and it's a quid pro quo for using their car in their absence.

@jasonllevin She wasn't thrilled about being First Lady, although she made the role her own. That's over, and if I were her I would also put it behind me.

@KFILE "Mrs. O'Leary's cow" is what we learn.
Until I took the Chicago Architecture tours as an adult, "Chicago Fire" meant nothing to me.

@ask_aubry The girl on the right looks cuter to me, but what do I know?

@abarefootmomma Put the wash in a trash bag. Place the bag outside their door.

@absolutelyamyyy How would the outraged feel when hot food were to fall on their little darlings. A restaurant meal is a night off from cooking and washing the dishes, but not from watching your kids

@Okie_Rancher @DrNadolsky So true! I think of the biomechanically perfect runners who believe the advice that one replace shoes before the soles wear through is just a Big Shoe moneymaking scheme.

Never take fitness advice from an athlete. Take it from someone who was overweight, who was diabetic, and who wasn’t genetically gifted but who fought their way through to being healthy, looking healthy and feeling better. Natural athletes for whom it came easy are judgmental, condescending, and will never really help those for whom it is a struggle.

@krassenstein I also wouldn't make a post like this. Presume everyone is watching, especially here.

@deestiv @emilykmay 18? My parents, both eldest kids of widowed mothers, had to wait until they were 39.
English

@emilykmay Yup - and Nana was outsourcing childcare like a mf to the eldest daughters. My mom was the 3rd of 10 and the 2nd daughter - she was legit raising her younger siblings until she turned 18 and left.
English

@emilykmay Also, the elder children--both my parents--were deputized to care for the younger ones. They weren't free to go until the littles were out of the house, so married after all their siblings had

@HeatherThomasAF The 60-year-old woman I know who only learned as an adult why she'd never met her paternal grandmother.

I'm old enough to remember pre-Roe.
I was a kid but I remember signing the cast of a teenage girl in my family that I idolized because she let me play her records and taught me how to ride a skateboard.
Years later, my mother told me she broke it "accidentally" throwing herself down the stairs because she overheard the boy, who violently date-raped her, talking about "doing the right thing" in her living room with her dad.
Luckily, in those days, a D&C for a miscarriage was a routine procedure. So she got off light.
Yeah, we remember. And we're voting AF.

@ask_aubry Say that again. He was already home, and he expected his wife to clean out his mother's attic after *her* workday?
It would be so much easier if he just moved in with his mom.
English

@hankgreen Of course not, because they're convinced it's impossible.
