@callmelongfell2 It might depend on the age of the kid in the movie. We had bought our son leap pad stuff when he was little, but he upgraded to the Nintendo DS because of his aunt (he's in his 20's now so we are past the leap pad age)

From what I gather, the “new toy” is a stand-in for a Leap Frog & he/she is the antagonist. Apparently, parents love what Leap Frogs provide for their kids (this is all new info to me btw so don’t quote me) and they think the antagonist should’ve been more akin to a phone or iPad but they think they were probably paid off not too. Dark stuff!!
