@CJPhillips1982 Really poor. No movement off the ball at all. The midfield must have missed the coach this morning because they were nothing and not a single long range effort was even close to the goal.
English

@SUFCRootsHall No pace on the pitch whatsoever. Kaf the only player making any sort of runs
English

@CJPhillips1982 Alty are playing touch tight and we can't handle it. They have 5-10 yards of space every time they're on the ball. No team pressing at all. Really poor first half
English

Not the journey most of the blues are taking today but nevertheless. Follow Southend awayyyy

What a journey this guy has had. Good luck!

His dream becomes reality 💫 Congratulations to Bim Pepple, who has received his first #CANMNT call-up! 🇨🇦

@willberto85 @KieranMaguire Yeah an agreed salary cap would solve this. Couldn't agree more. At Southend the club have just taken over a local pub just outside the stadium. The owners came in and vowed to make the club sustainable before lumping money into the squad.
We have a new clothing deal and new pub
English

@BookerDeWitty @KieranMaguire Agree, but getting extra income won't solve the problem - without salary controls, clubs who overspend on wages by 500k-1m a year will keep overspending by 500k-1m a year. They would just be spending more. Salary cap + allowing owners to invest infrastructure would be better

Aldershot Town lost over half a million pounds in 24/25 when the club finished 16th in the National League.
Losses underwritten by shareholders putting in fresh funds and loans.
Common theme from financial results at National League and above is nearly all clubs making substantial losses.
If this is a sustainable industry then I’m a pineapple and you can call me Percy.

@footballontnt please sort out these two clowns commentating on the Liverpool Galatasaray game. Never have I listened to a more biased load of dribble.

Mo Salah’s penalty is saved 🫣
The tie remains level heading into half-time

@Lynchy_RL @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 I think the idea of making the cars lighter and smaller was excellent and well over due and yes the ground era made the easiest cars to drive (also not saying it was exciting) but they got the power regs so wrong. I hope it gets better but I don't see it personally.
English

@BookerDeWitty @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 The clipping isn’t ideal, but it will be refined. You can cry about it all you want but the fact is the last few years are chronically boring and the cars were very ugly and overweight. I think these regs have been good so far, a bit whacky but what new regs aren’t.
English

@IxBeast @Lynchy_RL @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 If you think that is the best racing in years then you've been watching something different. The overtakes are artificial and whilst there may be more of them I see no excitement in a car decelerating 40kph before the breaking zone and having zero chance of fighting back.
English

@BookerDeWitty @Lynchy_RL @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 The 1st 2 races of this season has been somehow the best racing in the oast 5 years cope about it brother. Ferrari is back and that scares everyone.
English

@BookerDeWitty @one2escape @SkySportsF1 How about your team follows the rules for once. Can you dig it?
English

@Lynchy_RL @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 The guidelines for these regulations are ridiculous. They never should have made the split between battery and ice what it is now. Bravo for the teams that have got it right but if anyone actually believes this "racing" is exciting then they need to give their heads a wobble.
English

@BookerDeWitty @jayplugin123 @SkySportsF1 And that’s where I can tell you didn’t read, the regs were clear from a year ago, it’s the teams who are at fault.
English

@one2escape @SkySportsF1 More a dig at the regulations than Ferrari
English

@BookerDeWitty @SkySportsF1 The one person who raised the concerns a year ago was ignored and built his car around it. This isn’t like the Merc situation where it is in a grey area.
