@devyaarora Honestly feel like I might try this. So demotivating to not see the daily word counts I used to achieve, but now that I'm so much busier it's not possible

i’ve spent the last few months trying to develop a healthier relationship with writing as a whole and the biggest game changer that’s worked for me is not tracking your daily word count. at all. ever. do not even THINK about it. just write, and don’t look back.

@lanchiwrites People are complex and to expect them to be happy or have happy stories isn't realistic! Queer people deserve to have every kind of representation not just the clean boring kind

I'm glad there are happy queer books, but I think a lot of us still want to be able to process and read about queerness that isn't clean cut and digestible and easy because sometimes it IS painful
