Honestly my issue isn’t the kids not knowing the words it’s their inability to phonetically sound it out and attempt to say it.
Reality is some words are going to be uncommon to certain people but the inability to use phonics is disheartening.
Bring Hooked on Phonics back!

That video of the High schoolers not knowing basic words is not funny, it’s actually really sad. Silhouette and gauche should be words they’re use to at that age.

My main problem with this movie is the blatant misogynoir. How the fuck are you gonna cast lightskin Amandla stenberg to play a character that’s meant to be the darkest in her family and then have damson idris as her brother. Makes absolutely no fucking sense
