Honestly my issue isn’t the kids not knowing the words it’s their inability to phonetically sound it out and attempt to say it.
Reality is some words are going to be uncommon to certain people but the inability to use phonics is disheartening.
Bring Hooked on Phonics back!

That video of the High schoolers not knowing basic words is not funny, it’s actually really sad. Silhouette and gauche should be words they’re use to at that age.
