The California State University system has announced it is allowing for some bachelor's degrees to be granted with only 90 credit hours. They made this decision in an effort to help meet the needs of today's business world.

3.8 million high schoolers will enter adulthood this year. That's 3.8 million people navigating paying bills, budgeting, car loans, housing, etc for the first time. If you were in charge of guiding 10,000 of them, what topic would you start with? What advice would you give?

So far most AI experts would agree AI can do 80% but a human is still needed to finish the remaining 20%. Domain expertise is still needed to properly utilize these awesome tools. How long do you think it will take for AI to close the 20% gap?

I saw a comment that X is no longer a place for deep intellectual discussion. I think the rage bait is a large part of it. I've taken 30 minutes to think and respond to a post before realizing that it was engagement farming after clicking on that persons profile.

I am curious to see how AI changes the bookkeeping industry in the long run.

It always amazes me when I find a random content creator who produces good videos but only has 200,000 total views. Truly blessed by those who continue producing even when only 50 people watch.

Watching higher education in America as it scrambles to reorganize itself has been fascinating. Alternative education has been getting better each year and is much more affordable.

So far this year has been full of good higher education debate. Looking forward to more changes that will lead to better students, outcomes, and a more affordable degree.
