Met this vast Beech tree today in a forest on the South Downs. It has four trunks, each the size of a large individual in its own right.

"I am grateful in ways I cannot describe for this life and the people I share it with" -- Gordon White. Magician and Shamanic Healer. It has been shocking to hear of Gordon's death, like the ground isn't so firm beneath our feet today. May he Rest in Power.

A hand drawn poster for the Stonehenge Free Festival. It would annually attract about 30,000 people from 1974-1984. It was finally supressed, violently, in 1985 at "The Battle of the Beanfield"

@saturnslilhelpr I didnt mean anything very deep. Just that there is something in the vowels that seems to speak of the ocean. Vowels are open ended of course, they carry energy and that is only directed and used when they are stopped by consonants. Vowels=ocean. Consonants=land. Or something!

"Oceanic" is a word which carries in its vowels the power that it speaks of.

There is a point on The South Downs Way where the inside of all the flints embedded in the chalk turns black, where before it was light blue or tan. And suddenly looking into a dew covered broken flint in the path is like looking into deep space within the Earth.

A talk on an amazing woman of magic and words Florence Farr (actress, producer, musician and head of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn) coming to a bookshop near you... She stood up to Aleister Crowley and W. B. Yeats wrote poetry about her. Message @The_PBS for tickets

At The Devil's Jumps above Treyford on the downs. Five neolithic barrows aligned on the midsummer sunset. I am always amazed, and a little bit glad, they are not better known. Site of one of the most significant experiences of my walking The South Downs Way

This oak must have drunk from the spring around its roots for 200 or 300 years I should think. The pond is the bottom edge of the graveyard of St Mary's Bepton.
