Trump is day by day doing permanent damage to American science. I spoke to a friend of mine working in physics. One of the databases he uses was completely wiped clean because it also included evidence of climate change.

I love the compassion he shows to the inmates at Rikers. I’ve only been detained for 24 hours but even that much showed me difficult life in jail is. It’s so easy to fall into despair. I hope the mayor’s words provide encouragement and hope to those behind bars.

An argument could be made that the draining of the Ogallala Aquifer is one of the greatest ecological disasters of the last 100 years. All because jackasses want to grow corn where they have no business growing it. Data centers will put a final nail in its coffin.
