Actually, canada has never in our history had a majority government we didn’t vote for and the powers that grants through floor crossers. But, as with many other systems in this country—many of which may have been created in good faith, are riddled with failure and abuses by bad actors—when people can take advantage of them without any penalty (because that’s just how the system works), they will. It’s rather telling to witness a Prime Minister of all people, abuse the system for his own gain. That shows us a lot about him and his respect for us as a country, the tax payer, and his intent.

Boy do I have an improbable story for you! I wake up today with nothing scheduled and the idea pops into my head that I should go play poker at the casino which is strange because I haven’t gone in several years. I call to reserve my seat so that I don’t have to wait once I arrive and they inform me that they can only hold my seat for 1.5 hours which is down from 3 hours a few years ago. That means I have to leave pretty quickly to make it in time and definitely earlier than I would have gone without the rule change. Poker rooms have something called a “Bad Beat” Jackpot. They collect money for it all day every day to pay out for a scenario that is almost impossible to happen. Essentially, 2 players have to make the best and second best hands in all of poker which means one guy got a bad beat because out of roughly 2.6 million hand variations…he can beat all of them except the EXACT one hand that he just lost to. If that scenario happens in a poker room, there’s a massive amount of money that’s been building for months or often years that gets split between those 2 players, the rest of the table and then a percentage to everyone in the poker room that’s playing at a table. Well, I get to the casino, I play a few hands and the table beside me HITS THE BAD BEAT JACKPOT for $550,000! So this guy in his 30s with a baby on the way wins $220,000, a big chunk gets split amongst his table and then the rest goes to the players at the other 3 active tables in the room (that’s me! 😎) which is in the thousands per person! 😳 So thank you to the random thought that popped in my head this morning that told me to get to the casino and thank you to the rule change for forcing me to leave right away or else I would have arrived after the bad beat jackpot! What does this mean? I don’t know but I’m going to go get some ice cream now and buy a ticket to tomorrow’s Megadeth concert to celebrate! 🤣

Its too bad @indycar is not solely based on talent. No team could get a better high side driver, series and team representative, and all round good guy than @ConorDaly22 . Dude is the entire package and deserves a full time ride.
