The general public now believe we are lifting sanctions on Russia because people like Beth and Pippa have repeatedly followed the Tory lie. The state of our media is unacceptable.

Journalists focused on a £12,000 donation Desmond made to the Tories, but his service to the Brexit campaign was vastly far more significant. Jenrick's illegal action looks like an attempt to reward Desmond for services to Brexit.
