John Sterling was an icon. Yankees fans were blessed to have him for so many years. As a Phillies fan this reminds me of the day Harry Kalas - another giant in baseball - passed away.

My son turned 10 today. Went 2-2 at the plate. Made some great plays in the field. He also allowed his first home run. 12yo all-star took him yard. Ryan went over and congratulated him and came back and threw a strike with the next pitch. That’s what I’ll remember.
