I think it's fair to be worried when a franchise loses the indentity it had to appeal to an audience who normally never cared for the series.

Notice how all the thumbnails look worse afterwards? This wouldn’t be the case from someone who was just enhancing an image or two
Also oh my gosh the comments on this one are terrible. “Hey its okay you stole others works just don’t do it next time or I might not like the vid!”

So it looks like he put out a short apology video and changed a lot of his thumbnails.
It’s weird because in the apology video he says just used AI to “enhance” some photos which none of us were saying was wrong, it was using AI to make the whole thing which was wrong
