@SatchelPrice I absolutely buy this, but if you can’t adjust as a company, it’s a reflection of awful management.
English

@BoostSnob I don’t think they anticipated the degree to which one side would start to outpace the other but it’s really screwed anyone who wants to grade more ordinary sports cards and not stuff that’s worth thousands
English

@iron_fkn_maiden @fsu_alum2002 @BosCardHunter TCG doesn’t have timing specific card value issues like sports seasons. They shouldn’t be in the same logistics pipeline at all.
English

@iron_fkn_maiden @fsu_alum2002 @BosCardHunter TCG is 3x sports submissions right now. This isn’t a sports issue.
Cutting TCG off entirely isn’t reasonable at all, but the facilities should absolutely be separated.
English

Company is completely fucking worthless. Shocker.
Boston Card Hunter@BosCardHunter
Hearing from the Dallas show that PSA may cut off bulk subs for the YEAR soon
English

@JayBobSons @Pack2F If they spent the 200 milly to separate TCG and sports into two different facilities, I’d buy in. But they already expanded into Jersey + bought SGC and BGS facilities, and it’s only gotten worse.
English

@Pack2F Eh, 200 mil investment, they mean business, will probably get better eventually
English

@BenMBurrows @rhoge Price and time increases dumped on sports submitters because people want to submit 500 McDonald’s Pokemon promos that aren’t worth grading cost in a 9. Make it make sense.
English

@BenMBurrows Ask @rhoge why sports submitters - the group PSA built their business on - are being *punished* by the fact PSA can’t handle TCG demand. TCG is 3x sports over the last month; and only one of those things is season-dependent in terms of card value. Time for separate facilities.
English

PSA needs to officially separate submissions between Sports and TCG leadtimes. The price volatility on sports cards is far too dramatic compared to Pokemon.
“Pikachu won’t tear his ACL” should apply to grading leadtimes as well.
Sports Card Investor@SportsCardInv
PSA just announced a $200 million investment into their infrastructure as grading demand hits record highs 👀 To keep up with the volume, PSA is doubling their physical footprint, upgrading their logistics and tech, and hiring over 1,000 new graders and operators through 2026. Starting today, there will be changes made to turnaround times for new grading submissions. What are your initial thoughts? 🤔
English

@jayhutch40 $28 + ship/insurance is crazy to me for something you gotta wait 6 months for (and likely won’t be graded correctly anyway). Slowest service should be 2 months MAX; and training should be done right. It’s crazy what they get away with. And they just continue to print money.
English

@BoostSnob The price increases and the time increases I hate but can understand becasue of the demand. What hurts me is that now in order to use the value bulk sub that you have to have a membership for. It’s a minimum of 50 cards. And will cost you at least $1,250.
English

February update on left. May update on right. Trust me when I say you don’t hate these people enough. Have some fucking shame @PSAcard @collectors

English

@jayhutch40 They need to establish separate facilities for TCG and sports. Enough is enough. If people want to sub 500 of the same $5 McDonalds promo Pokemon, send that shit elsewhere. Pokemon doesn’t have *seasons* that dictate pricing like sports.
English

@DanielSeahorn @CardPurchaser 2025 Topps Chrome cheaper than 2024 is frying me
English

Topps is so out of pocket for this. Asking for 90-100 for a blaster in an airport is WILD. @CardPurchaser
