Nearly all the extras in this iconic scene were French expatriates.
Their tears during the stirring rendition of La Marseillaise were genuine—
filmed at a time when the fate of France was still uncertain.

@For_Film_Fans Watching that film doesn’t seem like your dramatic Wayne. He had comedic timing snd he was funny . He wasn’t a television actor. He got to work with Lucille Ball twice. I Love Lucy and the Lucy Show youtu.be/ntgD4-zK0GQ?si…

His character literally broke his leg wheeled in on a cart. Seeing his Airborne soldiers hanging from their parachutes was gut wrenching.
He did a number of WW2 pictures. One with John Ford . Ford was literally upset with Wayne because he didn’t know how to salute. Ford was on the front lines Wayne wasn’t

@RetroMoviesDB This is my favorite scene of the movie lmao I heard John Hurt had so much fun doing this he originally thought it would be a walk on not a redo of the chest buster scene . Didn’t realize it till the day they filmed it .

Mission Impossible. Right after Star Trek Nimoy joined the cast for two seasons as Barbara Bain and Martin Landau left the series. Nimoy was good friends with both of them. Meriweather briefly joined the cast as well.
Star Trek was filmed right across the stage street from Mission Impossible .Both series shared the same Desilu casting director. You would see a number of guest stars doing bith shows some double booked
George Takei played a IMF Biologist in a episode of Season One. Shatner guest starred as two different bad guys in Seasons Six and Seven .
Nimoy left the show because he was bored and it was no longer challenging

[Colette’s Diary] – Page 23 (Contains 2 photos)
Ropes have a certain rustic charm, but Mistress Chantal eventually decided she prefers the cold, unyielding certainty of steel. Tiring of the palm tree, she moved me a few yards over to the chrome poolside shower.
With a definitive click, she handcuffed my wrists around the metal pole, securing me tightly to the fixture. Now, I cannot sit, I cannot slump, and I certainly cannot hide. I am forced to stand tall, a living statue placed decoratively at the water's edge.
From the comfort of her floating lounger in the pool, Chantal watches me with a beaming, relaxed smile. She is the picture of leisure; I am the picture of obedience. I try to turn my face away, to avoid the bewildered gazes of the guests passing by, but there is no escape. I am on display from every angle.
Yet, as I stand there, feeling the sun on my skin and the cold metal against my wrists, a wave of familiar warmth washes over me. This is my world now. I am her centerpiece, her prize. And even burning with shame, I wouldn't trade this place at her command for all the freedom in the world.
Description:
The Story So Far In our previous chapter (Flight to the Golden Cage), we witnessed the beginning of a unique journey. Mistress Chantal and her devoted partner Colette boarded a plane to Mexico, establishing the rules of their vacation: strict silence, physical restraint, and total surrender. Now, the plane has landed, and the real heat of Acapulco begins to set in.
About This Chapter - This collection (spanning 20 pictures) captures the first hours of their arrival. It documents the transition from the private confinement of travel to the public exposure of hotel life.
The Arrival: The series opens with the pair arriving at their luxury hotel. Colette is dressed in a deceptively innocent white summer dress, creating a stark visual contrast with her strict black gag and cuffs.
Private Service: We step inside their suite, where the "holiday" for Colette means serving her Mistress. Unpacking luggage and enduring "training" sessions in the tropical heat highlight her dedication.
Poolside Exhibition: The narrative moves to the hotel pool. Here, Colette’s submission becomes a public spectacle. Whether she is serving as a footrest, tied to a palm tree, or displayed as a living statue by the showers, she remains the center of Chantal’s possessive attention.
The Shift: The set concludes with a dramatic change in attire—from white fabric to heavy black rubber—signaling a deeper level of immersion into their play.
The Psychology of the Dynamic As with the prologue, it is vital to understand that this is a consensual game of Total Power Exchange (TPE) between two women who love each other deeply.
Mistress Chantal orchestrates these scenarios to push Colette’s boundaries, mixing strict discipline with moments of tenderness and care.
Colette finds her ultimate freedom in this restriction. Her blushes and shy expressions are real, but they stem from the thrill of "shame play" and the joy of being fully owned. She trusts her Mistress completely to guide her through these intense experiences.
The Format: [Colette’s Diary] The story is once again told through the intimate pages of Colette’s personal diary, offering a glimpse into her internal monologue—her fears, her physical sensations, and her overwhelming love for her owner.
What's Next? This is only the beginning of the first day. Our vacation in paradise has just started.

The Pit Fight music in THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU was inspired by the 1990s show AMERICAN GLADIATORS, which Ludwig Göransson watched as a child.
