@PhilJ3sus The sunk cost fallacy - the phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial. Just human nature unfortunately.

TO THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! Thank you so much for donating to, sharing, and saying nice things about this campaign. We’re now over the target superfast, so we can send the dogs in hard. This was helped along massively by A for anonymous’s unfeasibly large donation. So a special thank you to him/her.

APPLICATION TO TURN A CHURCH INTO A MOSQUE IN THURROCK A planning application has been submitted to extend and convert the Stanford Le Hope Methodist Church Hall at High Street, Stanford Le Hope, Essex SS17 0EY into a mosque. This is a beautiful old church and deserves to be defended. In 2021 this area was only 7.9% Islamic, with less enrichment in surrounding areas. essexlive.news/news/essex-new… The Applicants say: “Increasing the floor area would be beneficial for the local community and the council.” The application will reduce parking spaces from 8 to zero. I am asking you for donations toward the out-of-pocket expenses of the campaign to resist it. I’m asking for £2,000. givesendgo.com/Thurrock As usual, none of the money goes to me but on the costs of fighting this application. Please forward🔁

@Karsevak1992 @pureMetatron India didn't exist prior to the English. It was a continual war between various tribes for centuries. We stamped that out and instituted the rule of law, education, transportation, healthcare....how about saying thank you, you ungrateful foreigners?

🚨 Rupert Lowe MISLEADING the public about Lincolnshire County Council's translation services! 🚨 Local authorities are legally required to provide translation services under national legislation including the Care Act, Children Act 2004, Health and Social Care Act 2012, Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, and the Equality Act 2010. In fact, we are spending £45k LESS than the previous Conservative administration did during their tenure (2022/23), despite higher demand from further illegal migration from the Tory Government! Reform UK's Lincolnshire administration is rooting out waste and creating efficiencies everywhere we can in our council, and we have succeeded with over £60m+ identified savings so far! Try again @RupertLowe10! @reformparty_uk
Restore Britain@RestoreBritain_

Reform's Lincolnshire County Council spent £272,245 in ONE year on translation into Arabic, Kurdish, Romanian and other foreign languages. This is YOUR tax they are wasting. Restore Britain would scrap ALL foreign language translation/interpretation.

Restore Britain will be standing a candidate in the Makerfield by-election. There is overwhelming demand from our local members to do so, and I entirely agree. Our campaign has already started, and we aim to win thousands and thousands of votes. More news very soon.

The main stereotype regarding British cuisine came from Americans during world war 2 who exported the myth worldwide. Food was obviously rationed seriously, leading outsiders to assume we had very bland dishes. The truth is prior to that as an Empire nation our food was one of the most diverse and rich world wide.

I have quite an odd origin story for being an Anglophile, which is that I first fell in love with British cooking. I had heard so often the stereotype of it being terrible, so I went to an English pub and actually tried the stuff. I found it phenomenal and fitting to my palette. It really is quite great. Bangers and mash, beef Wellington, shepherds pie, meat pies, yes even things like beans on toast are all great, hearty food that is honestly my favorite cuisine. My favorite breakfast of all is a full English, with black pudding and all, alongside a cup of English breakfast tea with a splash of milk. I am actually of the belief that this particular stereotype was actually crafted specifically to facilitate mass replacement migration, to build false pretenses that the native ethnic foods and culture of European peoples were simply inferior to nons, when that could not be further from the truth.

"Most of the country speaks the language", yes. But "most" isn't the argument and that should be an absolute minimum requirement (and based on ONS data, 15-20% of all immigrants can't speak the language at all upon arrival). The problem is they actively build parallel structures to avoid it. Official reports into the Bradford, Oldham, and Burnley disturbances concluded that British Asian and white communities were living "a series of parallel lives" ...separate schools, separate social networks, separate civic worlds. That was 2001. It's only got worse, not better. The argument is that where integration fails, it fails catastrophically, and the political class spent decades pretending otherwise. Rotherham. Rochdale. Telford, Southport, Manchester, London...Those weren't accidents. They were the direct consequence of treating the demand for integration as racism. That's the complaint.

Nobody mentioned race. You did. "A specific people" means a cultural group, defined by shared language, history, law, tradition, and yes, identity. The British are not a race. Never were. They're Britons, Romans, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Normans, and centuries of arrivals who assimilated into something cohesive over time. Culture is not biology. Conflating the two is either a mistake or a deflection and given how quickly you reached for it, I'd suggest the latter. The argument is simple: a nation is a specific cultural inheritance, not a blank canvas. You can join that inheritance. Millions have. But you have to actually join it which means you learn the language, respect the history, participate in the civic life. That's not racism, that's the basic definition of a functioning society. What you're doing is a well-worn trick: the moment someone argues that a nation has a distinct identity worth preserving, shout racism to shut the conversation down. It doesn't engage with the argument. It just tries to make the argument unsayable. That's not debate, that's suppression dressed up as moral concern.

But does provide a bypass to the media blockade, forcing reports and getting the brand name out to the general population. Gives people/the party more experience in campaigning for future elections. The results would undoubtably show Restore as a credible alternative to Reform, swaying future voters. Pro's and Con's.

Restore shouldn't field a candidate in the upcoming Makerfield by-election. We're not ready. We have no ground game in the area and we'll be fighting for third place at best. Better to avoid it entirely.

Patriotism with the hard parts removed isn't patriotism, it's a feeling. A nation isn't a patch of land that anyone can pour meaning into. It's the crystallised expression of a specific people, their culture, their language, their history, their sacrifice. Britain isn't Britain because of its geography. It's Britain because of the British. The land doesn't make the people. The people make the land meaningful. You cannot love "this place" as something distinct and special while simultaneously arguing it belongs to everyone equally and excludes no one, that's not inclusion, that's dissolution. Then the rhetorical trick unfolds...flag vs. land, as if they're opposites, when the flag is simply the land's culture made visible. Next up, Drop in Musk and Trump. Suddenly we're not talking about nationhood anymore, we're talking about billionaires. Millions of ordinary people hold conventional views on borders and belonging. Their position isn't invalidated because a rich person shares it. That's not a counterargument, that's contamination. And top it off with the classic diversity is our strength tripe, "Unity works" ...delivered by someone who just told his opponents not to dare speak. Framing your own contested political position as neutral common ground so that disagreement becomes division is one of the oldest authoritarian moves there is. Real patriotism doesn't need to smuggle itself in under cover of tolerance. Remove the leftist propaganda and you're left with no message at all.
