Bitcoin wasn't invented to solve this crisis. It was discovered because crises like this are inevitable, built into every monetary system that gives governments unlimited power to print and control without consequence.

Iran is charging oil tankers Bitcoin to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. $1 per barrel. A loaded supertanker: up to $2M in crypto. Meanwhile, ordinary Iranians are moving savings into Bitcoin to survive 40-50% inflation. Same asset. Opposite needs. Same conclusion. 🧵

🖤 Ha muerto Francisco Holgado. El Padre Coraje. Tenía 82 años. Su hijo Juan fue apuñalado 33 veces mientras trabajaba de noche en una gasolinera de Jerez. Tenía 27 años. Estuvo desangrándose casi una hora. Lo encontró un taxista al ir a pagar. Era 1995. La policía no resolvió el caso. Así que Francisco lo investigó él mismo. Se infiltró en los bajos fondos de Jerez. Se hizo pasar por drogadicto. Convivió con delincuentes. Lo conocían como Pepe El Gitano. Consiguió grabaciones. Consiguió nombres. Hizo lo que el sistema no hizo. ¿Y qué pasó? Que el juzgado descartó las pruebas por cómo las había obtenido. Un padre que hizo el trabajo de la policía — y el sistema le dijo que no valía porque no había seguido el procedimiento. En 2000 detuvieron a cuatro personas. En 2006 el Supremo las absolvió. Falta de pruebas. En 2015, seis días antes de que el caso prescribiera, apareció una huella dactilar en el tetrabrik del mostrador de la gasolinera. Era de Agustín Morales, alias El Gata. Llevaba muerto nueve años. La única pista con nombre propio llegó cuando ya no servía de nada. A los 71 años, Francisco se fue andando de Jerez a Madrid. 37 kilómetros al día durante 17 etapas. Para pedir al Ministerio de Justicia que no cerraran el caso. Hoy ha muerto sin saber quién mató a su hijo. 30 años esperando una respuesta que nunca llegó. El sistema no falló. Funcionó exactamente como funciona: lento cuando tú necesitas respuestas, rápido cuando ellos necesitan tu silencio. 🕊️ Descansa, Francisco.
