Just hand washed a bunch clothes in the bathtub for my son for the week. We have a laundry room but they upgraded the washing machines and sometimes I can’t afford them. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Hey I keep it real even when it’s lightweight embarrassing 🙈 🤣🤷🏽‍♂️🫠

Most of the accounts that win giveaways nowadays are made between 2025-2026 But it also doesn’t matter anymore because, this platform is strictly about engagement. More specifically engagement from verified accounts. Hell, You can make an account today get verified and get seen more than someone who been on here for years. Lol 😂 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

I accidentally stopped a robbery in a restaurant once. I saw patrons cowering under tables. My eyes scanned across the room. My slow gaze met the robber’s as I slurped up my spaghetti. Pride. I was mortified that my deafness put me in this position. And pissed at myself. I refuse to let them see how stupid I felt. I apparently did not hear the commotion. I kept chewing on my noodles. And I slurped a long one in my mouth. I kept the eye contact. He ran out, nearly dropping his rifle. Later when he was caught, he told cops there was a lady who was freaky. She was so calm and collected. (He didn’t know I couldn’t hear.) “She was just sitting there. Eating her spaghetti. Ain’t nothing gonna come between her and that spaghetti.”

Well my son Sheamus had a good birthday today. We didn’t do much just hanging out together as usual. He’s almost a grown man, one more year! Now he’s making himself afternoon coffee, watching wheelchair lift videos on YouTube.

My son got his groceries from grandma and he’s been hyped up every since, running around laughing and flapping his arms. He’s 16 and will be 17 next week. Classic #Autism doesn’t age.

Y’all, my daughter recently received a $100k settlement check and her boyfriend simply asked her if she could hold the bills down for a little while so he could leave his job and focus on getting his real estate license. She told that man no, said she’s not taking care of a grown man that isn’t her husband. Mind you, this same man has been taking care of my daughter and her THREE kids for the past two years while my daughter hasn’t worked or brought in a single dollar of income. Not rent, not lights, not food, not nothing. I’m on my daughter’s bank account so I can help her manage things, and when I saw her fumble a man that’s been holding her and them kids down, I stepped in. I Zelled him $5k because that was the max it would let me send, told him to leave her and come stay with me until his new place is ready because I refuse to sit back and watch a good man get drained, disrespected, and discarded once the money hit. Of course my daughter found out and lost her mind, but I’ll be damned if I watch her damage a man who did everything right and got treated like he was disposable once she got a check.

“My tenant is a single mom with three kids. I watch her leave the driveway at 5 AM every morning. She works three part-time jobs just to keep the lights on. She looks exhausted. But for 16 months, she has never missed a payment. The house is spotless. She never complains. Yesterday, I knocked on her door. She opened it, looking panicked. She was still in her uniform. She probably thought I was raising the rent. I handed her an envelope. "What is this?" she asked, her hands shaking. "Open it," I said. Inside was a card that read: December is on the house. Buy those babies some gifts. She dropped to her knees right there in the doorway. She buried her face in her hands and sobbed. "I didn't have money for a tree," she cried. "I was going to tell them Santa got lost this year." I walked back to my car with a lump in my throat. Everyone deserves a break. Especially the ones who work the hardest.” ~ Bringer of rain

I delivered pizza for 5 years. You learn a lot about people by how they open their front door. It was Christmas Eve. I was bitter. I wanted to be with my friends, but I needed the tips. My last run was to a motel on the edge of town. Not a nice place. I knocked on Room 104. The door opened, and a little girl, maybe 6, stood there in pajamas. Behind her, her dad was sitting on the edge of the bed, head in his hands. The room was empty except for a few bags. “Pizza!” the girl squealed. The dad looked up. He forced a smile. He came to the door and counted out exact change. crumpled ones and quarters. “Keep the change,” he said. It was 50 cents. I handed over the box. It was just a small cheese pizza. “Merry Christmas,” he said quietly. I walked back to my car. I sat there for a minute. I looked at the $80 in tips I’d made that night. I thought about that little girl. I drove to the 24-hour grocery store. I bought a precooked ham, a pie, a gallon of milk, and a cheap stuffed bear. I went back to Room 104. I knocked. The dad opened it, looking confused. “delivery mistake,” I said. “Manager said this goes with the order. Bonus for the holiday.” He looked at the bags. He looked at me. He knew it wasn’t a mistake. His chin started to quiver. He didn’t say a word. He just reached out and shook my hand, gripping it hard. I drove home with $0 in my pocket. Best Christmas I ever had. The world is hard. Be soft.
