🧵 We’re doing our bit for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Scotland. We’re keeping toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes used as part of our supervised toothbrushing programme in schools/nurseries out of the bin. They can be recycled into lots of useful things! @NHSNSS

On the Ninth day of Christmas Childsmile gave to me Nine Dental Health Support Workers Our Dental Health Support Workers can turn their hands to pretty much anything. They train, teach, assist with anything and everything to do with teeth and we’d be lost with them. #Childsmile

A Christmas message from Santa! With only 5 sleeps until Christmas morning, Santa asked us to let everyone know that the best Christmas present you can give your teeth is to give them a good clean before you go to bed.

On the tenth day of Christmas, Childsmile gave to me ten water bottles. The safest drinks for teeth are plain milk and water, this is because they are not acidic like fizzy or sugary drinks which can cause harm to your teeth. #Childsmile #12daysofChristmas #oralhealth

On the eleventh day of Christmas, Childsmile gave to me eleven tubes of toothpaste For children under 3 years of age use a smear of toothpaste onto a dry brush and for children 3 years+, use a pea-sized amount of at least 1000-1500 ppm(parts per million) fluoride toothpaste.

On the sixth day of Christmas, Childsmile gave to me six supporting sidekicks Working alongside our fabulous Childsmile teams are our trusty sidekicks from Millie Monkey, Elvis and Pinkie Panther they help us to teach all about brushing and looking after our teeth. #Childsmile

On the fourth day of Christmas Childsmile gave to me four electric vans. As part of our sustainability journey, our Childsmile Teams are gradually moving over to, where possible, electric vehicles thus helping us with our sustainability action plan. #Childsmile #oralhealth
