In my opinion, the Pope is an elected official. There is no mention of a Pope anywhere in the Bible. He is essentially the elected leader of the Catholic church, and that's fine. But don't assign him spiritual importance he does not possess beyond that. What do you think?

Hoy había reunión de padres. Mi marido " muy generosamente" me ha dicho que vaya yo que el hace la cena a los niños. Les ha puesto un capítulo de máster cheff donde hacían bizcochitos. Y luego los han hecho. Y eso han cenado. Bizcochitos. Y patatas fritas para acompañar. 😩

Al Papa hay que obedecerle en temas de doctrina y moral siempre. Y en las cosas opinables, tener en cuenta su criterio pero no para adherirse obligatoriamente. Que una guerra es justa o injusta es pura doctrina. Que la inmigración es en sí algo postivo es algo opinable.

Hay una virtud que se llama “prudencia” y sirve para deliberar sobre el medio por el cual se llega al bien conforme a la verdad en una circunstancia determinada. La Iglesia tiene esta virtud de manera muy marcada y no muchos parecen entenderlo.

@9Kings1910 Monarchism is surprisingly rare in Hungary from my experience. All the circles I moved in in Budapest were very traditionally-minded, conservative and religious, and even then I only ever met one monarchist. He was a very nice older Catholic gentleman.

I don't understand why everyone, pro or anti Orbán, is apparently OK with Hungary being a republic. I'm not. No matter who is Prime Minister, it is an abomination for Hungary to have a “President.” St. Stephen did not found a Republic!

Cuando se olvida que Dios es juez en este mundo y el siguiente se termina con ideas delirantes de culpa y venganza. Para el caso europeo, no hay nada que ocurriera en la SGM que no haya sido pagado suficientemente. Nadie tiene ya la culpa de nada.
