I used to be proud when US artists were well received in other countries MJ in Japan or Tina Turner in Germany for example. I had nothing to gain but it felt nice to see artists be well received globally. The same is true when artists from other countries are well received in the US So I really don’t understand why K music critics have such a problem when BTS is well received abroad Isn’t music a form of cultural exchange? It’s similar to when Frank Colon played with Herbie Hancock - combination of Puerto Rican bongosero and Jazz pianist/keyboardist cultural connection that changes the world for the better

My post-AMA thoughts. So I was lucky enough to have a moot offer me a ticket to attend the AMAs literally a few hours before they started. I was thrilled because I had wanted to go but just never bit the bullet to buy a ticket. So I was so excited and thankful. 🙏🏻 I must say it was exciting in a way I didn’t expect! And when the guys said in their live after the show that when they heard ARMYs screams it instantly relieved the stress they felt & they were so proud .. I honestly felt so incredibly proud of ARMY and to be ARMY! ✨ Never in my life did I think I’d attend an awards show. I live in MO and there are none here and when would I find myself in LA, NY or LV to attend .. little did I know the world had different plans .. happily! So the surprising excitement that occurred was simply being in a room full of different very popular western artists & their fans along with the powerhouse that is ARMY in the same room. It was almost indescribable, because it’s one of those — you have to feel it to feel It things. But I’ll try. The truth is, we really showed everyone in that room why BTS is so completely out of their reach because they truly built an ARMY that is willing to go to the ends of the earth or even walk ‘Into the Sun’ with them and no matter how hard the others try they’ll never build the same for themselves because BTS built it authentically not because they were trying to build a force to move thru this world with them but because they just shared themselves sincerely. But I digress. We were chanting BTS and the fanchant LOUDLY even BEFORE the show a big began. And when I say loudly I mean it was a roar like NOTHING else in that room the entire night. And it was undeniable by anyone in the audience. Then literally EVERY time BTS was mentioned, whether during the live portions or during commercials - we roared! Let me explain why this is so different from attending a BTS concert with 60,000 people screaming until your ears are ringing. Because you completely expect that at a concert. And not to say I didn’t expect ARMY to show up and be heard for BTS, I just didn’t expect for it to be so completely obvious and noticeable the difference in volume & excitement for BTS verses any other artist mentioned. It was truly amazing to experience in real time. Something I found so fascinating if not even a little funny was this: when the show started the other artists got normal amounts of cheers .. it’s not like it was silence .. there were very loud cheers. But it was just NOTHING compared to ours. And I completely noticed that thru out the night the cheers for other artists got a little louder & a little louder & it truly felt like a competition because we were so incredibly loud. I say it was funny because even though they got louder .. there was no way possible they were ever going to match us. It was an audible certainty that they could never touch our enthusiasm & roars even though they tried. The few people around me that weren’t ARMYs really did have the look of a deer in headlights because they clearly had no idea what they were witnessing and why. Like you could see the puzzled looks, turn into ‘why them and not my fav’ .. it was truly something I will never forget. It’s no wonder so many in the industry are scared of BTS because the success of this comeback & what they witnessed at this show IS SCARY for them because how do you even start to compete??? Especially when you literally have no clue how they accomplished building such a dedicated ARMY. I only hope/wish that some of those people walked away realizing that all the misnomers about BTS successful numbers being manipulated or created from using bots are simply not true. We are real! There are real bodies sitting in those seats at those sold out concerts all over the globe! And even though we may stream like it’s our job .. buy like we have unlimited funds .. and vote until our fingers are numb .. we are MANY .. we are global +

Strong Power, Thank You! ⁷ ⊙⊝⊜
This is how ARMY started. Not millions of us over night. BTS accumulated ARMY slowly but surely through their songs and messages and by being themselves & ARIRANG brought more of them to the compound. To accuse us of being bots.. I don’t think bots can fill up stadiums, sweetie.
